Case study · Since March 2023
EZ Clicks Studio
A studio where the client is the photographer
I started a self-portrait studio in 2023. A thousand-plus clients later, I ran the numbers and rebuilt pricing, costs and revenue streams without losing what made it work.

- Role
- Founder / Marketing Lead / Editor
- Timeline
- 2023 to present
- Team
- Ezekiel, Estephanie, Cassandra, Yvan, Elkanah
- Platform
- Facebook / Instagram / Google Maps / in-store
1,000+
clients served
28
monthly bookings to break healthy margins
5
new revenue streams from the same gear
01
The real problem
Clients hold the remote, pose for themselves and see every shot live. It worked from day one. But running a business next to school meant decisions were made on instinct. A proper financial review showed demand wasn't the issue. The pricing and structure underneath had never evolved.
02
Finding the fix
- Pricing: small psychological steps instead of scary jumps. ₱300 to ₱399, ₱500 to ₱599.
- Costs: cut an underused unit and trimmed electricity without touching the client experience or team pay.
- New revenue from gear we already owned: studio rental, grad and birthday packages, pet photos, corporate IDs.
- Targets: 28 bookings a month for healthy margins, 40 for a strong month, 50 for full potential.
03
What actually happened
- Marketing handed properly to Estephanie with a 5-posts-a-week calendar
- Google Maps listing finally claimed and completed
- A referral program and local collabs instead of relying on walk-ins
- I kept editing every client photo myself, because quality is what brings people back
04
What I learned
Busy isn't the same as healthy. The biggest wins came from optimizing what we already had, not from chasing more bookings.
